It's was a problem big enough for me at the point to not buy the americas pack.I hope they could fix it somehow but it’s not a huge problem for me and I use rheas as they are a lot.

Honestly seeing this pie chart only makes it funnier when they basically breeze through anything PZ related to just talk about Elite Dangerous.
Sure, but then why make animal when resources arent there.Let's face it, a lot of animals in the game don't move anything like their real-life counterpart.
The dik-dik, for example, walks like any other large antelope in PZ, while in real life (from what I've seen at least) it walks in quite a unique way
Though I can understand why die-hard animal fans are bothered with that kind of details, may I remind that most of people absolutely don't know how some species move or even the noises they make. Most people don't know that a dik-dik doesn't walk exactly like a "regular" antelope or that the gharial moves differently from other crocodiles. I can totally understand why devs don't put much effort when most of players won't notice at all.Sure, but then why make animal when resources arent there.
Anyway dik-dik case is even more stupid than that. Frontier did absolutely no research and someone making it must have thought small ungulates move in fast motion (cause small = fast) so antelope animations were speed up. Meanwhile small ungulates move cautiously in slow and long strides. It would be literally better, if Frontier didnt do anything, but slap model and call it a day. You probably heard about it as explaination why there are no small ungulate mods based on it.
I mean isnt that all the more reason to accurately portray them? To educate people?Though I can understand why die-hard animal fans are bothered with that kind of details, may I remind that most of people absolutely don't know how some species move or even the noises they make. A lot of players are already been educated by being introduced to many animals they might never heard of before. I've learnt a lot about animals, their biomes, behaviours, social needs, colour variants, etc. While I prefer the game to be as much accurate as possible, I don't think it needs to be as precise as a National Geographic documentary or an specialized animal guide. Sometimes I feel we as a society in general tend to focus on one small bad detail and we forget all the good things.I mean isnt that all the more reason to accurately portray them? To educate people?
Of course but I don't want to blame devs for their job when it's already very good. And as Aramar said, the game already allowed a lot of us to learn a lot of things on a lot of species, if not to discover some. Nature has always been an important part of my life but I've never learned as much as for the last 4 years thanks to Planet Zoo. If we want to focus on education, I would say that Frontier is doing a great job by focusing on topics like presevration and ecology.I mean isnt that all the more reason to accurately portray them? To educate people?
No. I do not understand it. I really dislike this way of thinking.Though I can understand why die-hard animal fans are bothered with that kind of details, may I remind that most of people absolutely don't know how some species move or even the noises they make. Yea ED is popular though but seems to not translate to profits. I know people higher up though love that game and it’s a passion project for them so yea… but PZ is CLEARLY what pays the billsHonestly seeing this pie chart only makes it funnier when they basically breeze through anything PZ related to just talk about Elite Dangerous.
You're welcomeI was an average joe before joining Planet Zoo, now I'm known as the Animal Nerd in my biology class.
I want to think that maybe could be the teaser trailer this week (maybe monday o tuesday), and even more so because the next week after this one is the last week of June (and from there, comes the next Frontier Unlocked)I really hope we'll get some news the upcoming week.
But it could also happen that we have to wait even longer and they just wanted to tease us already to let us know there is coming another dlc.
Hey. It's meImagine your favorite animal being done dirty to the point it is sad looking at it (rhea)
That was Mario Kart world for meI'm so glad that a certain videogame has been consuming my every thought since it dropped last week (deltarune my beloved), because otherwise, last week's lack of a trailer would have felt like hell lmao. I hope we get to see it this coming week.
Err I don’t think they won’t be able to pack that much into a streamthe closer we get the more im thinking it might not get revealed till the next unlocked stream which already looks like its going to be packed with PC2, JWE3, JWE2, PZ and everyone's favourite space game all having significant reasons to be showcased.
